she can? she's not his only fiancee and if she were to dance with him it would cause strain on their relationship and his other relationships. plus the "fiancee" label is very different from our modern definition here. if she just said no and then danced with his brother - who is her knight, by the way, there would be no issue. the reason why she can't dance with his brother is because she implied she couldn't dance IN GENERAL because she was sick.
