it is annoying but i don’t hate duroa too much. i think a lot of her feelings are valid, he did treat her like absolute shit growing up, even though he didn’t want to. She doesn’t know that, all she knows is her own experiences, which were undoubtedly not good. i think he definitely has some work to do bc he clearly still hasn’t gotten a good understanding on how to treat and communicate with other people.
i’m not used to reading hopeful speeches like that. nowadays stories only use them for stupid naive characters so the reader can critique them. i was expecting him to make fun of her
love that unlike other stories, no matter how strong they are or how hard things get, these are all KIDS! they all read and feel like high schoolers!! it really makes u feel like ur there hanging out with ur friends it’s so nice
yes!!! It's also nice that the author seems to be pretty against the kids- even if they're high schoolers- drinking alcohol, and that most of the punishments seem realistically achievable (the 6 page apology would take work, but they can still *do it*)
this cute art style is distracting all of us (including me) from how the house’s change from neglectful to doting and possessiveness makes absolutely no sense
somehow seeing the king hooked up to all of those tubes is one of the most unsettling parts of the whole story even though it was only for a single page
