Because in the raws, emperor mentioned how he knew his feelings towards Mc (which was being inlove with Mc) when he joined the holy knights which when he was 15.
The thing about that chapter is how emperor stated how he wanted to like penatrate(or smth sexual to the Mc) and I got the vibes with him being a predator...
Not trying to start an argument it's just genuinely how I saw it in my eyes..
Edit; And yeah, I know how naive Mc is. He's always being babied by the emperor, at some point he doesn't even look like a knight;;;
Edit2; I thought about it again, while we haven't gotten any flashbacks abot their childhood whether the emperor did or did not manipulate? Mc when he was 15, then I wouldn't say it's grooming per say..? More like just him kinda being a predator cause he was 21. Then again this isn't modern society so that's that. I also agree with the person above me(づ￣ ³￣)づ
