It's actually pretty complicated, the story keeps changing plot. What he did wasn't him completely, it was his supporters manipulating him like "ooh becoming a king will give you full access and you van have all you want even your sister will stay forever by your side" at least that's what we knew from the glasses guy. But like I said, the plot keeps changing. Cayena says she'll be emperor but is dying in 1 week, (rezef never wanted to be an emperor as long as cayena stays with him, this explains why he was happy when the king gave his duties to cayena and not rezef and how he got angry with that glasses guy when he said bad things about cayena, leading to his death by rezef's gun. He's easy to understand, thinking cayena as emperor he thought he has her now secured and he could just stick with her forever)+ cayena used to be a reincarnated korean girl at the furst chapters who planned to run away but it changed to the old cayena being resurrected. THEY COMPLETELY IGNORED THAT LONG HAIRED GUY WHO WANTS TO REBEL AGAINST THE EMPEROR AND KILL REZEF TO BECOME KING and the little boy idk but it's pretty messed up and whatever, rezef is a victim of it all since not even one soul likes him (except that forgotten blonde girl on e appeared and never again) I barely can keep up with the story with this much changes

I mean so much happening like fast paced nice I wouldn’t stay intact and sane for that long. The dark side of having powers. Just a lot of manipulating, traumatic response and like defense mechanism. This is gore to read, nice

Guys i get others for saying he changed. I reread it, some features definitely changed but its minimal. It’s subtle but i get it the first chapters, he’s really unique. But the changes subtle the color scheme stays the same so butttt still so goood
It’s not a very subtle change if everyone notices it but regardless of subtlety I think we can agree he looked better in the earlier chapters (▰˘◡˘▰)
