The rings are rare enough that its considered an urban legend but common enough to be studied as a medical condition. The doctor could tell right away that the fever was caused by the ring. There's the implication that homophobia exists but M/M soulmates are clearly thing so logically how can anyone justify going against the will of fate? But again some people dont even believe in the rings.
Also the connector is such an interesting character. I wonder what his life is like. If he takes on the memories and emotions of the rings he takes away then what is the impact of that? Also what does he gain by doing all this? It seems like his consultations and services are free. Is it completely altruistic? Id read a spin off about the connector.
Ive never seen a red string story interpreted like this before. Apparently "destiny" is not permanent. It was based on their choices and actions. I loved that; so refreshing.
This is almost one to one the same vibe as the dog story this author wrote. But instead of a big scary wolf taking in a tiny white dog, it's a big scary tiger taking in a tiny black cat. Also I don't think he's meant to be a kitten, I think they just want to exaggerate the size difference. Typical yaoi things.
Hell yeah! This is some good yaoi. What I love more than a soulmate troupe is a total subversion of the trope. Also you can tell that the author has excellent taste and sensibilities based on the simple fact that she made Kihoon the uke. Beautiful work fr.
Damn a 2 year coma, thats crazy. Hospital bill must've been high. I still wish he at least told her that he was leaving and why. She must've felt abandoned and betrayed. Even a letter would've been nice but I get it. It was a scary situation with no right answer. Knowing his mom she would've tried to go with him and that would be 30 unsure and unstable years in a foreign country with a man who couldn't recognize you.
