Manhua truly have no middle ground quality and the good ones are rare but damn when it's good, it's really great.
Yeah, manhua is like find gems in a rock pile or wet trash in a trashcan. Through I have find at least 10-15 good bl manhua and like 20 other manhua. Chinese novels are good, there's a bunch of them, just wished those got adapted instead.

Writing is not easy but it's more accessible to anyone. It's easier to get good at writing because you only have one area of expertise to master, writing. Whereas storytelling through drawing, film or any other media require expertise in many additional fields like drawing, scene comp. and more.
Book have the best storytelling pieces, that's true in any country. But why does the other Chinese medias have such low quality average is a mystery to me.
I really just want to know their adaption picking process (I know its involves money, however there where some novels from publication but the worse one got adaption maybe it was popular in China but the novel score wasn't great on the chinese novel site) because their straight romance manhua have some the same premise, drugged, r*p*d, or reincarnation from betrayal. Not saying all but it a lot. There are number of good one that I can count on my hands. The Bl ones are up to 15. And regular non-romance ones are 10 as well. The ones I like atleast.
