Just started reading and it seems like the FL will grow up and have a thing with Theon. This seems pretty gross since rn she's got an adult brain

Caught up with the officials and I'll stand on my opinion that if she ends up with Theon it'll be gross. It's fine if it's Ethan bc he was also mentally grown the whole time they interacted. For those disliking, please explain to me how a grown woman being romantically interested in a child isn't gross

She doesn't have a thing for theon
The moment she was reborn she still had a bit of affection for theon but it was never like her previous life. In fact she actually only thinks she likes Theon in this life, because one she is in denial about her feelings for Ethan and two she is a bit touched by Theon pursuing her this time. But nearly by the mid of the manhwa you'll see she genuinely gets over Theon and in the latest chapters she's completely gotten over him and accepted her love for Ethan. Even in novels she ends up with ethan

My logic is she should meet someone when she's an adult who is also an adult. Also, like I said, Ethan is also an adult when they meet so he's fine. If someone has a completely adult consciousness it is strange for them to then marry someone they've known since childhood. How she looks doesn't change the fact that she is an adult and the webtoon gives us no reason to believe she has regressed in maturity and mental age.

She liked Theon but the Theon she was thinking about was the one from her past not the child in front of her. And she didn't find out that Ethan also went back in time until they were 18 so by your logic Ethan wouldve also just been a child in her eyes. If anything it would be weirder if she liked Ethan. She only met Theon a few times in her childhood before the time skip to his graduation whereas she actually grew up with Ethan and was seeing him every week.

The dad isekaid into an otome game as the father of the villainess, Juliette. He realized this in the first chapter when her fiancee broke up with her and announced that he would marry the sacrificial maiden, Nasha. The kingdom sacrifices a girl every 10 years to a dragon who provides them magical energy. Juliette is forced to take the position of sacrificial maiden in Nasha's place.
The dad, Andrim, wants to prevent this because in the original game her sacrifice let to the exposure of his crimes and he was put to death. His first move is to go visit the dragon with the corrupt high priest. There, they make an undisclosed deal with the dragon who agrees because he us bored. It is also revealed that Andrim and his family are cursed to always die at age 55 and never age pasy 22 which is why he looks so young.
Chapter 2 focuses on the engagement party for the prince and Nasha. Andrim passes his role of prime minister to one of the prince's allies, Moreno. He does this because in the original game, Morino took the role of prime minister by force, so it is better to hand it over. He also hands the role of dragon priestess, which was formerly Juliette, to Nasha's sister, Marie. In doing this, he reveals that the family members of the sacrificial maiden have rights relating to her standard of living. This surprises Marie because she believes that Nasha was kidnapped. In reality, Nasha's parents sold her to the royal family which is something only Morino knows about.
Marie puts on the ring that the dragon priestess wears and immediately collapses in pain. Andrim reveals that this is because the dragon priestess must suffer all the pain that the dragon feels. He is actually lying and asked the dragon to curse the ring when he visited him in the first chapter. The purpose of this is to make Juliette gain public sympathy by showing that she has been in severe pain for many years and has not complained. It is also used for an aesthetic change because they say the reason she wore so much makeup is because of the pain she was in.
Saying that the shrine maidens are in pain also provides defense for the accusations leveled against the high priest. The high priest has been drugging and extorting dragon priestesses, but he says he has been giving them drugs to ease the pain of being the dragon priestess which is allowed because the high priest can do anything as long as it is in service of the dragon. When Morino pushes back on this, they blackmail him with the fact that Nasha's parents sold her.
Key other points:
- Andrim's son works for the royal guard which is led by the black haired man that is on the cover.
- The high priest cuts Juliette's achilles tendon in order to prevent the prince from locking her up in the temple. They say she is too weak to stay in the temple and that cutting her ankle will prevent her from running away if she is kept elsewhere.
Don't get me wrong I'm still glad they made up but DAMN there could not be 2 more incompatible personalities. Not a smidgen of communication until one was literally on the verge of a nervous breakdown???
