the whole contract shit during the first act (ch 1-15) was painstakingly boring, its trying to make me care for a contract of a character that i dont really connect to, but im glad that i stayed because after that point theres so much character moment beyond that and i actually get to like the mc/ml and root for them (๑•ㅂ•)و✧

I think you will be able to understand pretty much everything new in this but yeah lot more will make sense if you know their parents story too…
If you will have free time read it, it can be little too much from start but it gets better at the end and side stories are pretty norm, I think reading side stories will be enough to understand at least some of the references
