Yk what I hate the most? When a character goes through a heartfelt moment and really tries their best to get closer to a certain goal, yet it all goes down the drain for comedic purposes. Hopefully this is not one of those moments cuz as much as I adore Anya being a little dummy, I want her to grow as the the story goes on instead of being stagnant,,yk?
I feel like this will actually be a character growth moment, especially since the author so far has been doing good with that for a good bit of the other characters (especially with Loud and Damian (you can see Yor growing as well as even her brother, and even that one spy who likes Loid (not a lot, but I feel like there's some growth for her, even if it's a centimeter's worth))). So far, I feel like Anya hasn't had that much growth as a character, as she's stayed pretty much the same, so this really seems like it'll be her moment
Plus if she doesn't do well, she isn't going to be in the same class as most of the friends she's made so far (especially Damian), so it'll def hinder the plot if she doesn't do at least well enough to get them all in class together again
But I could be wrong and hoping for nothing, personally if the author does choose to make this a comedic moment and not a triumphant one, it'd make it so much harder to read this
Definitely agree with you, alot of characters so far have had their moments (which i love) but similar to you, I'm not expecting anything huge ( learned that the hard way),,I js hope the author will make the right call
