On one hand, i’m so glad that the miscommunication wasn’t drawn out for a lottt of chapters and resolved in that one convo
But on the other hand, it seemed a bit underwhelming?? I can’t quite put my finger on it but it felt like there was no crescendo of conflict and it just went back to flat
Maybe i’m just more to the (unnecessarily) long chapters of conflict i often read (⊙…⊙ )
