my issue is; why put him through training all over again, it's not like he was a super dancer or singer in his og body, otherwise even with his scandal a company would have fought for him. So why nerf his little talent if it truly is the second option.
It's like they want to give him a forced underdog situation yet the guy is already at rock bottom.
Like he's so down in the dirt already that he's willing to change genders just to be a star. it just feels like bullying.

i think that's true for a lot of established idols but he's new so they don't want to take on someone who's that big of a liability, especially since his scandal is well known in his school to the point where the companies find out before signing him on. i do agree that if he was like top top tier they might've offered him a place as a soloist. i think that kind of position tends to be better for anyone potentially controversial
the system has definitely lost it. it would be one thing if River misremembered what happened on tybern because of trauma but the trio are proof that whatever River remembers is truth. Now memory and belief are two things in this, I feel like the system has been corrupted into thinking they're releasing everyone from eternal war and into a digital hive mind.
that being said, the crew the system went to meet is definitely not the full conscious and being of those people imo and, is probably just ghosts the system is holding onto as River/the lady scientist's last wish.
And then we have Jumper who's been repeating this story for ages so his ass is not to be trusted on anything and we can see him as a hostile with any information he gives.
Anyways I'm so excited for the overall story, we finally reached a new arc.
