So like my main takeaway and probably why most people are confused is how the panels are arranged. Like if you're supposed to read right to left, the medium should help it's self to that but sometimes you have to scroll all the way down to the right just to read one panel fully to then finally get to read the left part.
Imo this slows story telling and also makes certain things hard to remember.
ok now to the story, I'm still trying to figure out what the author is going for, like the first Martha lead looks too much like the ml so it's a bit confusing as to whom they want the focus to be on.
It feels very much like Tokyo ghoul.
Unlike TG, The story feels like it's trying to say Martha is the good but keeps showing us the other.
Obviously our world is grey and not every story has to have a bad and good side but when they try to have us feel sympathy for the fallen Martha crew all I'm feeling is "fuck around and find out".
Like it just reads really weird, like the author wants us to sympathise with both groups and despite showing the horrors of one group the other groups still comes off as unsympathetic because of just how innocent the mc is.
so yeah, I'm intrigued that's for sure but this is definitely going to be a binge read for me, I'll wait for multiple chapters to be out then read.
am I insane or does it feel like they're trying to soft launch a second ml at such a late point into the story (a story mind you that has yet to conclude it's first act properly and is getting lost in the set up)
