People have also been saying the author herself even confirmed Chiwoo was raped on Twitter.

oh I see....up to now I was also doubting and I did not want to jump into conclusions..but after this last chapter's conversation and the bare leg thing (I also noticed that), I was like okey this seems pretty worse than expected...to be honest, I am very glad that the author was so delicate(?) about it, like I find no enjoyment in rape scenes...but I would have liked that Chiwoo would have called it for what it was. The problem sometimes is that we dont want to call things by their name because then they become real, and we prefer to stay in denial. But I think that both for him and for Jihyun, it would be for the best to call it for what it was. Maybe that would help Chiwoo to move on and forget about Jihyun, and maybe that would make Jihyun realize what a fucking bastard he was. That is what I though, but well, seems like Chiwoo made his mind this time, and I am glad and praying for our sweet baby to find happiness with Kyujin, who is a sweet caring person

I just read all 144 chapters and it's a bromance with a little bit of maybe one sided romantic affection (if you look at it cross eyed) I see the romance as click bait bc the reality that I just saw reads more as deep brotherly affection/loyalty and not romantic affection. There are no kisses or anything of the sort just affectionate hugs that lean more towards brotherly than anything else.

I agree but I went into this expecting this type of "love" story that in addition to chinese censors. Honestly though I've read Here U Are for example a real chinese bl and it was a romance granted the official sexy scenes were censored you could still say 'Ah this is a romance' this story is nothing of the sort. Shounen-ai tag is queerbait maybe in the future things will change but right now its bromance but the story is still a good one if you like political dramas. I only really like them when theres a love story or enough comedy to lift the heaviness of the drama so idk if I'll actually finish reading this story.

Queer-baiting is where they tease a relationship but refuse to commit to acknowledging that it's more than friendship. In Here U Are, the nature of their relationship is very clear. Sex isn't explicitly shown but the aftermath makes it clear that's what happened. But even without the off-cam sex, it would still not be queer-baiting because they've outright said they're a couple. They're dating, holding hands, having this big romance thing.

Shounen-ai usually doesn't end up queer-baiting for that reason. It's just non-explicit gay romance. The relationship is still there, still acknowledged. There's just no sex.

Yea, and I truly dont see them ever committing to a real romantic relationship between the emperor and the prime minister. The authors just created a beautiful bromance and dance around their relationship with "vague" affectionate hugs. Like I said the story is good, the love story none existant lol shounen-ai tag is bait

Blondie and some other dude made promise w nux where nux gives blood to them upon request. Blondie already used that promised, and some other vamp already used it as well. Blondie bout to go and get it, but nux convinces blondie to become next nux. nux been shapeshifting into blondie for a while and now some people think blondie is nux

In order to save the main character (mc) we have to make him a full vampire because he’s struggling hard to get essence from doing the side ways folk dance. Long blonde is his friend that’s been trying to find Nux (essentially the leader of the vampire boy band) however, the current Nux has been going around impersonating Long Blonde and preventing the real Long Blonde from getting the blood. The current Nux really wants our mc to be the next Nux. If you look back at a few chapters ago there was a character that looked exactly like Long Blonde but everyone was calling him Nux; that was Nux pretending to be the real Long Blonde. In addition, for some reason you can only ask for Nux’s blood once per person, so the real Long Blonde was going to get his friend with the suit and swept back Black Hair to give the Mc his share of Nux’s blood, however Nux said that swept back Black Hair was lying and betrayed the real Long Blonde. It’s a bit confusing but this is what I’ve pinned as the story so far~ If something doesn’t make sense, ask and I’ll try figure it out too because honestly this is a whole lot of confusion lol
