That was crinnge like ewwww. I would have loved a more mature ending. She said that Raymond was the light of her life. This definitely means she's has gone blind.
The ending was pure FICTION and a Regression of Elijah's character. The words were flat and fake. As a reader, I did not believe any of it. It just reeked of bad writing and the author's inability to bring about a believable reunion of the two. My comments are Harsh but true.
Lets say Elijah married at 28 , then she had a miscarriage and scientifically if I am not wrong it's not safe to conceive until 2-3 years after that she got preggi and then 6 years later she comes back that adds upto around 37-38, at this age nearly 40 I would rather she be mature and go to celibacy than go to that toxic piece of shít.

This is so true, many asian parents no in general many parents cast their dream on their child. Even I hate this how my parents dream in my place, that our kid will become this and become that just because we have some more little brain and experience because we are the new generation. It's burdening and suffocating. I know as parents they do have expectations. But these expectations kills us. They are killing me. There's a constant pressure to get full marks, stay at the top ,this that, and their questions are irritating and skin itching like " Oh u can't even do this??" Sometimes I just wanna shout JUST DO IT YOURSELF IF U HAVE SO MUCH CONFIDENCE. People who can't fulfill their are utterly useless and pitiable because such people force their dream onto their siblings or children.
