i started reading this only for fun and bcoz the art looks nice. before i read it, i didnt think much of the plot. (and even thought it would be bad ngl since i felt like shes doing way too much just bcoz of a guy who doesn't deserve her time or pain) but now, i think this is better than i expected. the author did a great job writing her character. the way she felt miserable when she cheated back on her ex, the way she never felt happy throughout the whole revenge process even thou everything went according to her plan. everything is so well-written, especially her thoughts and feelings. personally im all for pay backs, i actually believe that getting revenge can make one happy despite ppl thinking its not worth it or that it cant bring you true joy. but here, revenge cant make her happy, it's just not who she is. so it's like watching someone forcing herself to do things that she doesnt agree with until she finally feels like she lost herself. what she needs isnt revenge in this case but healing and i like the fact that she herself knows it yet still chose revenge, it shows her human nature. im looking forward to see what happens next.
this is so sad pls dont get me wrong thou, i actually like how things are going (otherwise i wouldve been disappointed) but damn the angst is angsting so good!! i love how deon is so determined and nothing could change his mind, he'll do anything for revenge. this is so peak

Everyone shipping him with the brown haired girl (valid ofc) but I actually want him with Yeonri!! So toxic yes but I'm enjoying this so bad ngl. Been rooting for them since the beginning even when Yeonri had little scenes. I'm hoping shes the FL, considering shes on the cover and all. They arent like any other toxic manhwa couples fr, usually i dont enjoy reading manhwas with toxic het ships but theyre making this work for me (probably bcoz unlike the norm, not only the guy but the girl is also toxic and badass here. its rare to find red flag female leads so i cant help but like her character)
usually MCs who cant accept their feelings for certain reasons frustrate me a little bcoz i feel sorry for the MLs but here i completely understand MC. Hes so valid for not daring to say and hear "i love you" after experiencing that insane situation, its like those three words have lost their meaning and became dirty bcoz of that jerk ugh
