Honestly their interactions in the hospital was my favorite part, it was genuinely so well written and beautiful to read.
I'm so happy I found this Manhwa and novel ♡♡
Am I the only one that feels infuriated at these little hints to her backstory only for it to be the same mindless plot all over again?
This drags out way too much, if you wanna build a mystery, do it properly and be engaging.
There's a lot of characters but their world feels kind of empty tbh despite there being angels, demons, supernaturals and humans.
Fighting barely happens, dialogue is short and mostly comedy, if it's serious, it either gets cut short or is confusing to bait the readers with upcoming lore (at least it's promised for a bunch of chapters now).
There are singular moments that carry weight but there's so far in between, it makes this Manhwa as a whole feel like an endurance test. (Like you made it to chapter xy, don't quit now).
Idk man, maybe I've been spoiled by "Eleceed" or "Tower of God" that actively build their world and are engaging to read.
I love the art of this but the plot feels lackluster, it's kinda sad because the setup was promising.
There's a bunch of spoilers below for the curious but I wanna warn people that this doesn't have a happy ending, it's tragic and pretty upsetting (at least to me).
I know some people are sensitive to that and might not be expecting what's coming so here's your warning~
AHH my heart, this is so adorable!!
They're so stinkin' CUTE!
Like where are all my green flag puppy Seme at? I need more I'm begging ╥﹏╥
The art is gorgeous too especially the hair and eyes, feels very stylized and I appreciate it.
+ the dog being their Cupid is hilarious!
((NOT THE BUSSY COMMENT AT THE END THO AHH))
The story is basic, it's 9 chapters but overall it was a great read and the characters carried this~
This has been the most wonderful journey!
I love all of these stories and I'm happy the last 2 were so wholesome and fluffy.
This was such an unexpected trope for me but I loved it!! We need more of this, I'm so thankful to the translator and the artist who participated in this special feature.
I'll miss the updates ♡
This Manhwa is my Guilty pleasure I swear.
I hope this turns into a "Captain Save a Hoe" situation lol
I've read a couple body swap BL Manhwa before but I gotta admit, this one is BY FAR my favourite (I'm sorry Monochrome Rumor).
This story is so genuine and heartfelt, I caught myself crying a couple times especially at Gyeol's backstory with Doyoon, it broke my heart.
It always does with these stories, there's dread and anxiety over having a new body, your old self gone and on the brink of being forgotten.
So you wonder if you even existed at all.
I'd be lying if I said I didn't seek these stories out for the psychological aspect but it hits every time especially when the writing is just so damn good! And I really adore the art too.
Words cannot describe how much I love them and this Manhwa! Seeing an Mc that deals with trauma and still tries his best to smile and helping others and having a ML that suffocates under his family and gradually believes the blame they've put on him, is heartbreaking.
It's beautiful how they found each other.
If this isn't a happy ending, I'll throw up.
I need them to be happy together, Idc if there's just sweetness and warmth in season 2, I'm here for it!
This is getting weirder and weirder, I know I said this is a fever dream but this feels like an understatement at this point.
Where is the author getting these ideas from like I genuinely wanna know?
This feels like I entered a fetish club and I'm the only one clueless about the fetish it's meant to cater to.
Nah I'm lowkey vibing with this, it's essentially smut with a hint of coherent story but I don't mind it.
But this recent chapter took me out with second hand embarrassment OMG
Like imagine you're tapping that ass after someone you hate been there a freaking minute ago, ahh this story will be the death of me
Y'all were right in saying Dogun will fertilize the eggs put into Mc
That creature likely infected Dogun with something and now he's in delulu land and wants to rail Mc hard...ah I can't with this Manhwa, why is the art so beautiful tho??!
LABY on YouTube made an extremely good video on this Manhwa!
Whether you agree or not, it's actually educational as to why Dan is a victim and why Jinx portrays sexual violence and also how the law in South Korea affects same sex abuse and encourages staying silent unless you're a woman and your abuser is of the opposite sex.
Same goes for toxic masculinity and why we categorize certain traits as manly (such as violence and dominance) and even tend to be drawn to that.
I feel like if Mingwa was fully aware of the sexual violence and lack of consent in Jinx, this would be an amazing story, if she delved much deeper into the traumatic aspect and the consequences it can have on a victim that is conditioned to stay silent (being of the same sex) and in a position that doesn't allow speaking up.
The power difference in terms of strength and influence as well as their life styles make for a really good story if it centered around the psychology.
Everything else aside but who's the guy on the cover tho? (⊙…⊙ )
Looks kinda like Kabu from Bi no Kyoujin.
I don't want to drop this but the pacing is so awful.
Any big reveals or development feel so flat because there's little to no built up.
It feels like a theater piece where you pick some scenes that you liked without telling a coherent and engaging story.
I liked the pacing of the early chapter better.
Their sword fight? Not shown and provoked out of nowhere. The rescue of the prisoned knights? Small dialogue, no attachment to them and just dead guards that Iblonde seemingly took out.
This feels like 2x speed on a YouTube video while occasionally skipping 10 seconds.
I love the premise and this story has so much potential too! It's just a bit bland to me.
Still I want to see where this story goes in the future so I might need to let it marinate.
Everything else aside but I'm really vibing with Hades colour scheme, even his weapon is purple lol
I'm on chapter 13 rn BUT I had to comment this.
When I started the first chapter I was like "oh another abusive Top, this will be pure smut without good story but okay", while I kinda hurriedly skipped over the first half (also the woman took me off guard).
The cover page also didn't make me feel like I was gonna read a good story, looks very provocative and I was thinking to kill some time.
BUT I'm so invested in this!! The writing is genuinely so good!
The art is beautiful and my heart aches when I think about the Mc and how he's basically put down by Minho(e) all the time.
I'm rooting for Taehwan so badly.
I never thought this would be such a good read, I literally teared up when Mc was crying in the theater and I truly hope he gets happy in the end.
Nah this chapter was so frickin BEAUTIFUL!
The Mc is drop dead gorgeous.
The way he just shielded Dogun was so hype ngl
I love it when a character reaches a breaking point and does something radical like that.
But I hope they'll soon get out because it's dragging a bit tbh
