If someone is on the fence, and not sure if it's good, let me tell you author's recipe.
He starts with basic MC with low self-esteem, then ads two childhood friends, ofc to spice it up they are in love with him, he stirs it by getting mc and one of the girls on the verge or confessing, only to add a cold water and destroy all the flavor, and make them back off.
When the taste gets nice, and you think this dish is almost done, author ads another side dish every 10 chapters, we start with two childhood friends, but rn we have 5, by doing so, main dish is left on the fire, getting roasted to the point it almost completely charred, while author ads more and more side dishes without any flavor.
Damn, after reading and liking cheerful amnesia, I tried this one, but what a disappointment it was, unlikable, easy and wishy washy mc.
Even tho I don't like harems I gave it a chance, because sometimes even harem can be good if it's done with good taste and boundaries, but with this one I just can't, MC is super close with almost every single girl shown in this manga, kissing, touching etc with all of them, sorry but it's distasteful to me.
I swear if we don't get any extras with last volume I'll flip my shit!
Ending wasn't perfect for sure, but at least it was good enough to bring a smile to my face, way better than in dagashi for sure xD

Ok let's drop the sarcasm, this story should end a long time ago, but nope, author must milk it further, the only light in the tunnel I see is that this "princess" can somehow control going into heat, so we can expect her knowledge, or someone close to her is advanced enough on the subject, so maybe our beautiful morons will soon find a way to break free from "the one" situation with prince Vin.
I hope they will find the answer soon, and get their happy ending, by doing so they will save me and a lot of ppl from reading this "masterpiece".

Wow I dropped it a while back, and I just checked latest chapter to see what is going on, but now I'm glad I dropped it, kidnapping, drugging, and SA in one chapter, wtf I'll just check next ch to see if prince will save her or not, what a haunting chapter omg.

I must say, I don't rly read anything without fantasy/historical theme, but the art is so amazing I'll give it a try, hope it won't be toxic story full of drama, love triangles etc.
Seems like you don't know but this is actually being adapted from a c-drama with the same name. So you can check it to confirm if it's worth it or not. Ofcourse i haven't watched that drama.. I'mma stick with this manhua instead

Romance is secondary. But there IS romance. It's a good deal mystery with over-arching plot interspersed between the episodic storylines. Give it a whirl. If you're not hooked with at least the first 2 to 3 cases she solves maybe this isn't for you.
