IKR!! it irritates me so much how he tried so hard to win her or just hugged her without warning like??? It's so offensive, he should be glad that itsu is very mature man who's ready to talk face to face. And him? Like boi sit down!! Don't ruin a wholesome relationship bc u can't accept the fact that yuki has someone else in her heart, the attention and the love for itsu

I believe his and Yuki's relationship wasn't wholesome at all, she for sure was friends with his sis, but him? Acquaintance at best, she didn't even bother to give him her phone number, that for sure tells a lot. Also while Itsu wants to show Yuki the world, Oushi would rather put her in cage.
I think ppl like him because he looks like sad puppy to them, is there anything else for them to like? Imo not really, maybe it's because I'm rather old, and that is why I can't see him as anything other than a stupid brat, but it's just my opinion, so who gives a F xD

I was wondering if anyone else noticed how horrible the advice Oushi was given was. Seems I’m not alone. For a wholesome manga that part gave me a pause.

Probably most ppl quickly forgot about it, because right after that we got a Yuki x Itsu fluff, and who gives a flying F about Oushi and his friends when we amazing scenes between leads?
Tbh this kind of advice could be good, but not in this case, especially since Itsu is so damn good to her, his friends absolutely shouldn't give him such a advice not knowing anything about their relationship.

THANK YOU FOR SAYING THIS!!! it’s so forgetful too since afterwards we had a bunch of cute and wholesome moments from the main couple. The build up and story telling for this manga is so good, but that whole segment made me so upset. Just like you said, while Itsu wants to show her the world, Oushi wants to put her in a cage. From the first moment he was introduced into the story, I couldn’t stand him. He’s way too handsome to be going around trying to destroy a perfectly happy relationship! Not only does he try to control Yuki’s friends, but gives her multiple warnings and overstepping his boundaries as her “childhood bestfriend”. IF you can even call it that.. She never even bothered to stay in touch. It just sucks to see because now I cannot enjoy Yuki and Itsu’s relationship development without thinking something bad is going to happen and Oushi is going to be the cause of it. Especially once Itsu leaves Japan for work.. This is just me predicting things, but if Oushi pulls a “he says he loves you but leaves you behind?” card I’m going to flip out. I guess we just have to trust Yuki’s smart enough to decide for herself what to believe.

I have the same problem, since the chapter with his friends, and their advice to steal her from Itsu, I'm waiting for something to happen, he will pull something for sure.

I think it will play out a lil different tbh, like maybe new dude from latest chapter will be against their relationship, and act rude to Yuki when Itsu is not around, she will feel bad about it, and she will start feeling insecure, that's when Oushi will play his hand. Or something similar might happen, he Oushi is too big of a coward and man child to play fair, he will use her insecurities to make a move.
The only ? In this theory is that now Yuki lives with Itsu, so there shouldn't be a lot of opportunities for him to do anything.

Tbh, this is what I don't like about the Japanese culture. They have such a weird view about 'feelings.' The respect for somebody already in a relationship is near nonexistent. Somehow, feelings have to be expressed and the target has to be responsible for it. The best Oushi could do is to move on. Instead, he latches on and believes HIS affections trumps Yuki's growing relationship with Itsu. If he ever did see her as a friend, he would have respected her but he's just icky all over.

I wouldn't have taken this so seriously if not for the fact that something similar happened to my best friend who now lives in Japan. She's been steady with her Japanese boyfriend at this point when a coworker would aggressively pursue her. And he himself already had a girlfriend! It's because he just loved her so much that he believed he'd be a better choice. And the other coworkers wouldn't even speak bad about what he was doing. Just shrugged it off and just brushed it over. WTF is wrong with their view of love!?

His character makes me so uncomfortable for all these reasons. The biggest thing is in her inner thoughts she says she feels uncomfortable and she even tried outright telling him she has a boyfriend and he didn’t want to listen to her. She never seeks him out. She never does anything to show she wants to spend any sort of time with him at all. Her telling him she has a boyfriend should have instantly ended everything.

Exactly, she might be very important to Oushi, but she doesn't rly care about him, she didn't even bother to give him her contact number, he got it form her mom xD

Oushi doesn’t have a girlfriend, so I don’t understand who you are talking about. Shin told Oushi to basically face Yuki which is bad advice, but from his perspective, it makes sense since that’s what Itsu had to do for Emma. But you are right that the friends are extremely weird because they’re actively trying to break up Itsu and Yuki when they shouldn’t even be in the situation but all they’re trying to do is help their friend. I believe the best thing they can do is permanently dissolve their friendship because Yuki doesn’t care about him and he cannot care about her in a way that doesn’t hurt her. I honestly don’t think the author knows what to do with Oushi as Itsu seems to be fucking with him because he wants to tell him to back off, but he doesn’t want him to cry, but he seeks him out only to give him back his voucher. Honestly, I think Oushi needs to talk to Emma because she’s the only person who understands what he’s going through. They are both deserving of sympathy and grace like everyone else

The Ml is abusive and FL tries to run but the universe hates her and she is pretty powerless. It’s angst because we want the ML dead and he’s not :/

He threatens her, he isolates her, he touches and demands sex from her and plays mind games. He is obsessed but refuses to be kind. Just throws money

And u wanna tell me it's been 60+ chapters and he didn't change at all? In most cases if ML is like this one, we at least get flashbacks with his pov or something to at least try to explain why he is the way he is.

Nope. No change so far. He is still the same guy. Fl changes, she goes from in love to absolutely terrified and kinda sarcastic sometimes. No real flashbacks either, no explanation for why he sucks other than “ I don’t want to be weak “ . Yeah, I’d just wait at this point.

Luca regressed, so now he lives a second life or something like this. On his first life he loved his uncle and saw him as a father figure, but his uncle before he died told him that he didn't love him and was only protecting him because of his responsibility

I think Luca was child starved of love, now in this life he was given love and care by his aunt, so he decided to protect her from getting hurt like he was in his previous life. Luca thinks his uncle isn't capable of understanding human feelings.
