I suggest watching the series first, then donghua, then read the novel, then manhua since the manhua is still updating.

I was also in this situation but I didn’t watch the drama or donghua I went straight from the start of the novel bcz of censorship issues of the drama & donghua as well as I can’t but feel unsatisfied with the drama for certain reasons your pfp has that ml of PoN so I guess you should read the novel.... it’s much more detailed & the mushy scenes feels way cuter & are way more & ORIGINAL. It’s just my opinion
As a person who watched the series first, many things were confusing and I didn't know what people were talking about. So I suggest to read the novel first. Bcs it's detailed and easy to understand (also many other things *wink*wink)
