Also quick rewind, in the early chapters they had a flashback of the night of the bonding, when mc realized he was able to smell pheromones he immediately tried to run away but ML grabbed and dragged him back..at tht moment he was beta so no one would think rut affects him..he did the right thing to immediately run..but ML was just too fast
