Oh they definitely are, in previous chapters where the oldest brother in her past life went to the temple where Mari was, he had memories of her (mc) but then would get a headache. Then seeing the green haired brother, when called his name, he recalled memories of her as well but was confused. And honestly what really proves it, is this chapter her waking up from those memories, and Mari saying she wants to be her.

Yes, the previous family of mc are brainwashed by the evil BTCH Marian. And what's sad is that this thing Marian was loved by mc! The whole family didn't really care about Marian EXCEPT mc and she thought the only reasonable and good idea is brainwashed everyone (except mc) and kill off mc??? Like this thing(Marian) IS STUPID! And now karma is getting to her, I genuinely don't understand why she really believed that killing mc was a good idea.
tbh i think this is more realistic compared to having a fl who’s strong from the beginning.. she grew up being abused what do u expect?? so far it seems like both fl and ml r going through character development anyways. fl realized ml didn’t actually love her so she ran away for a better life with her baby and ml is beginning to realize what he did was wrong. everybody rating it so low def didn’t even read past the first few chapters..
