honestly not exactly? it’s hard to say.. I’d say if you don’t like triangles this is still an ok read, ml had a past lover and the mc resembles him and apparently has the same soul, the story is them trying to figure out where his past lover is or if the mc IS the lover from the past but again it’s just the mc and ml currently so there isn’t a third person actively involved in the triangle, people are also referencing Inuyasha which it does give those vibes but again the past lover isn’t actually around and we don’t know if they would ever appear again in the current period so can’t say if there will ever be a period where all three of them are in a triangle actively.. hope this helps sorry if it’s a weird explanation lol

I remember the author said in the creator's notes that they're a sucker for redemption arcs. They actually did say something along the lines of loving it when the seme goes begging and crawling to the uke. So, I expect more, but this one didn't hit that hard. This just felt like a cliche sob story. Maybe we got something better coming
