The author is suicidal that their work is posted on illegal sites this not letting them make as much money as they worked their asses off for. Even if cunts like you couldn’t wait drop the story and wanted to keep reading it illegally, you and the uploaded could have waited AT THE VERY FUCKING LEAST, a few weeks so that the author can make the most money possible. But Mika bitch ass (the uploaded) uploaded the chapter a few hours after it dropped on Lezhin. What in the actual fuck is wrong with people. First of all, how do you know I don’t buy the chapters myself. Exactly so stfu. idk about anime or why its in this convo but to address ur main comment here. no one is bashing anyone for reading on here. what some people are saying is this Specific comic should be removed because this Specific author is very upset over it. and after finding some details from a friend who follows her twitter it seems she was targetted for harassment by a group of people who were sharing her work on twitter and tagging her in it, basically making sure she knew they were stealing her stuff and rubbing it in her face. it seems they did this because she (like many artists have before her) complained about her work being reuploaded. afaik she didnt name names just made a general "Dont do that" kinda comment. hardly anything fuckin controversial but after that she got harassers cause people are entitled assholes and THEN she talked about feeling suicidal. which ofc she'd feel that way like jfc. now no not everyone reading this comic is harassing her obviously. but i think thats a fair reason to maybe not want her work being uploaded here any more. but ofc in the end that would assume everyone can agree to stop it, and most likely someone new will always come to keep reuploading for Clout and also as a Fuck You to the author. and i cant speak for others but so far most of the comments arent lecturing anyone about reading on these sites cause we all are reading here. but reading here doesnt mean they never pay or that they never support artists via other means (liking, subscribing, reading free chpts and adding to the page views, participating in missions or events or sales ETC). the options are There but people rather act like they are owed this shit for free with minimal to no effort expended cuz they "broke" and nto cause they are just lazy as shit and dont gaf about these creators. and in taht case just fuckin be up front about it. stop trying to have ur cake and eat it too. smh

You keep using the same lame ass argument that another user called you out on. Nobody here is saying that you or anybody should stop permanently from reading this work. So you’re whole argument of “but you read illegally too” doesn’t hold any water because I never claimed that I didn’t and I never claimed that you should stop. I’m mad at people uploading and reading the chapter after clearly being aware that the author was suicidal because a user already made them aware of it on yesterday. its not easy to just log in and delete chpts. alot of people flat out dont know how to upload on this site let alone replace chpts or delete them. and this site has many functions beyond reading licensed webtoons for free. it also houses non licensed fan translated content that is not purchasable elsewhere in english (mosot readers on here read english even when its not their first language since most work is translated into eng these days) and ofc even when a person buys the work, reads it on the official platforms, if that platform doesnt have a comment section (and manta, pocket comics, t a p p y t o o n and lezhin all dont have any way to react to chpts) then coming to a place like this website is a way to connect with other fans or discuss theories etc. so like...using this site isnt the issue. even uploading chpts on here is in itself a big deal. stop throwing up strawmen or derailing this convo into something its not really about. this is about THIS specific comic and THIS specific author and the culture of entitlement and even open harassment coming from some sections of this and other webtoon fandoms that thinks they are owed people's work/labor for Free, right away, with zero effort put toward that author's livelihood in either the form of likes/page views/subs etc if not actual money. and in fact when people bring this UP anytime for any comic tons of yall will lose their shit and tell them to shut up and drown comments in dislikes instead of just continuing on ur day. if u rly think its no big deal to read this comic here and dont care whatsoever about the legality or morality or w/e of this. then thats FINE. but yall dont get to be assholes about it or try to silence people who make VALID criticisms about this behavior. and again this isnt even rly about people who just quietly read for free and then go on their way.
