No. Elijah was just Agrona's tool. So no, Agrona was the reason. And no, he is not a dwarf, infact he born in Alacrya and dwarfs aren't born in Alacrya.

There another one that I found recently called: Death Delayed for a Short Time Because of the Will. It has hunter setting and it's marked as yaoi. There is over 30 chapters. I didn't even notice it at first but then it started to have small BL elements in it. I don't know how much BL there will be but I love it. As both avid BL and hunter manga reader. (=・ω・=)
