Probably a variant, much like with the other guy. He may even break away from being an npc and gain sentience as well
I kind of have this weird hunch when Bada said he played this game so long he's starting to forget who he is... what if Doha is also a player who forgot himself and turned NPC? Or what if all NPC's were people at some point? That would be cool.
