I guess that was good but could have put more scenes on how the issue was resolved and how the public and others changed their perspective of him. I mean it was shown but I wanted more.
Honestly I loved that they didn't, it showed that the controversy was never the main focus of the issue to start with, it was rather the whole process of reaching to the ending, if it makes sense. The aftermath was as expected but the main focus was the plot twists so it made sense that they wouldn't wanna show us something we already know how it'd go like but rather they showed something we didn't know at all, which was the twists and turns in the plots. Just my perspective :)
A lot of people here seem to hate the mc for running away, but for me I cheered for her successful escape. That's her life and freedom, even if it looks dumb, I would want to feel that too and escape everything that is bound to happen in that empire. I would want to try and live independently on my own.
Bro it is dumb like I'm on chapter 43 rn and I'm so confused on why she keeps trying so hard to see Arsene as a bad person. From apart where the beginning he was intimidating, he was a green flag the whole time the fact that their chemistry was so good too then she keeps trying to run away for her freedom as if she don't already have that already the problem with her is that she thinks he acts like the og novel even tho it's not the same anymore she portray him as bad already even after everything he's done like she trust the novel more than the actions of the ml I don't wanna blame the author for this mistake but I think it's kinda force how she keeps Trying to run away. Like it's so frustrating that it made zero sense NO ONE would be like that in HER situation, period.

Im enjoying it at first but man the seme is fcking nut case who only cares about his d1ck he can clearly see the mc slowly dying of exhaustion evrry single day.
