YES! this actually has a plot to it. And characters are likable
I feel like the loss of memories works well here because they didn’t know each other. Otherwise, the amnesia trope is really annoying when it is used as a cheap trick to add angst.

Maybe everyone acts weird around him cause something happened to him in the past, maybe he died or got bitten (idk how the zombies rlly work in this universe), but the point is that he is alive and very strong now and since he doesn’t remember his past and everyone else could know, then maybe that’s why ppl don’t trust him or something. He is also not very humanly so definitely something happened to him
