jjk rlly has his work cut out for him and i know minghwa really makes him beg dan. If i was dan and jjk confessed to me, i wouldn’t believe him at all. Jjk is such an action oriented person so his actions will speak for himself, but I rlly want him to learn words of affirmation or just being nice bc that will show Dan he’s serious about him. Either way, i do believe Dan will never stop loving JJK. It’s a fault of his to always put the blame on himself and thinks he deserves what’s happening to him. I thought Taegu really did help YW out in the past but he’s actually a useless lowlife lmao. He has the audacity to be fighting with Seoin about closeless to YW when he also didn’t even help him. Even if he helps him next chapter, the damage is done and YW really had to brave his trauma and hardships all on his own. The difference? Seo-in was a kid just like YW and didn’t have a lot of power. He was also ignorant to YW getting jumped. If he knew, he would’ve done something. Taegu literally left a teenager to fend for himself and all he cares about is money. He’s going to lose this battle. At most he probably got YW a job after he already found a place to live. YW gave him his thanks and is trying g to move on. I rlly like these characters bc they’re so human. There’s no perfect villain or hero or victim. Both JJK and Dan have their flaws and have their own toxic behaviors. Ppl can’t comprehend why JJK would treat Dan like trash even if they had similar upbringings. Think: someone who had an unstable childhood, lived each day to prove something to his bum abusive father, only to never hear that praise and love he desperately wanted. JJK wants to be the best because he’s nothing without the titles. He’s honest and aware that he’s a shit person but that doesn’t matter to him as long as he’s the winner and has control over his life. Dan and JJK are both different results of how a rough childhood can affect u. Dan shoulders his blame while JJK blames others. They’re really opposites despite coming from similar pasts. Their role to each other in the future is def to show each other a different way a living and healing from the past together.

There was a grandma helping him out when he was little which is probably why he likes Dans grandma a lot. This chap also shows us how JJK probably sees himself in Dan which is why he’s so harsh and pushes him to be healthier/not so wimpy. He doesn’t like weak ppl cuz he knows how it feels to be weak. I hope JJK continues to soften up and they can actually have a shot at a real relationship
