I love the lore of this manga because it’s pretty clearly inspired by conflict in Europe particularly WW2, any other history nerds relate?

Unintentionally, I have been to all of the axis power countries. My last trip was basically a border check of Germany and a bit of a dip into Switzerland. The temptation to buy this manga in German was very strong but my German is too weak to justify it. Spy x Family seems to be taking place in Austria (the name in the universe is very close) but it happening in Germany wouldn't be a stretch either.
Anyway, after WWII and through the cold war, there were still spies operating throughout Europe. Leipzig (which is close to the Polish and Austrain border) has a museum dedicated to the soviet spies of that time frame called Runde Ecke Stasi. It is exactly where the soviet, then Stasi, spy headquarters was and best of all, it's free. Since going there, it keeps popping up into my head when I read this.

That’s really interesting! I’ve always wanted to visit Germany and Austria, I’ll definitely put the spy museum on my itinerary if I end up visiting hopefully next year thanks for telling me about this place!! (especially that it’s free lol)
I also saw that the author for spy x family drew a cover for a world history book series released in Japan and the cover he drew specifically was for the volume on WW2! It’s pretty cool to see Churchill and Hitler depicted in his style. The way he drew Hitler lowkey looks very similar to Desmond (Damians dad) lol but anyways I think this further confirms that the author is a modern history nerd as well (▰˘◡˘▰) another win for us!
Bit of a weird request but does anyone have recommendations with a crazy possessive seme like Ilay I just binged this manhua and I need more!!!
Lmk too cause I can’t get enough
