Cains ring he gave Jooin is literally the title of the story…like I've read enough damn stories with this kinda plot which usually points to them being endgame but I never know with this story so I’m anxious
I’m sure Cain fans are rejoicing but the whole reincarnation thing ruined it for me. Am I the only one who feels the author intended it to be Yahwi x Jooin originally but changed their mind halfway, maybe because of Cain fans? Like are we supposed to believe by the ring it was always supposed to be Cain? Are they supposed to be fated because of the reincarnation thing? If the author actually developed their relationship like they did with Yahwi and Jooin I can accept this. And Jooin needs therapy and to be alone, not another guy he suddenly realized he was in love with the moment he breaks up with someone.
Yeah I agree, to me they’d set their minds to Yahwi being endgame and then when they saw everyone being pressed about it being obvious they decided to go the other way but it really doesn’t make any sense. Atp nothing makes sense so they need to wrap it up with the 3 of them moving on with their lives and finding their own happiness
And the sad thing is I heard Cain fans literally bullied the author off Twitter and made them take a long hiatus. I feel Yahwi fans might be disappointed but will get over it. I’m not sure if the author decided to choose Cain because fans like him for being non-toxic and they also fear another backlash if he ends up with Yahwi.
If this is true i do pity the author. Those people do not know the boundery and can't just let the author write what she feels. And i was like also confused why like instantly jooin suddenly fell for cain but most of the chapters is yawhi seems to be the obvious endgame.
Unless there’s some great ‘How I Met Your Mother’ twist here and Cain is actually narrating this whole story from his deathbed, I will chalk it up to bad writing.
How can the author develop their relationship like yahwi and Jooin when they didn't even have a develop relationship? The reincarnation didn't ruin the story, S3 especially shows that the reincarnation is the base of the story. And Jooin didn't realize he was in love with one else after a "break up" he realize he started develop feelings slowly since S2 it was sudden. I swear yall read with your eyes closed.
Like I can get that it's slightly unbalanced with the back story one a childhood past while the other is reincarnation but the reincarnation didn't ruin anything
Before S3 resume the author announced that the ending was completed already so they definitely went influence. And no Cain stans didn't bully the author, what happen is the author was indeed being harass but reader from BOTH TEAMS but the last interaction she had before leaving was with a burner acc acting like a yahwi stan. Both sides were at fault and each side was acting as if one was better than the other.
Okay I just read the chapter and it sounds like he's going to dump Cain too??? He said "we need to conclude this story properly." I'm sorry, but bid people get excited because he gave him a ring with the manhwa title in it and thinks that means they're endgame???...Like right now it makes no sense for Jooin to choose Cain fresh out of a breakup, but can still choose Cain after a timeskip.

Just want add, that concluding something doesn't always mean a separation. At the moment, Cain implies this is a goodbye with his letter, so to Jooin mindset, it done but he just want to have a proper closure. Because he still don't know what Jooin decision was before Cain cut him off. So it might be be an actual goodbye but let's meet again in better circumstances after some closure

I might get downvoted for this lol but to be honest I don’t totally hate how the story ended… I didn’t like those two together to begin with and throughout the story showed it just showed that they bring out the worst in each other so I do feel that it’s more of a realistic ending where they don’t end up together. What I wouldn’t mind tho is if the author created another story focusing on Dohyeok and how he changed and him finding another love because I think he needs at least some happiness

It's realistic ending to me. Happy ending for them would feel forced. To be honest, I expect an opening ending, Do-hyuk comes back after a few years and thinking about meeting Siwoo again. It will up to the readers' imagination whether Siwo would accept Do-hyuk or not.

So I’m rereading this and in chapter 3 when he went to the reunion does anyone know what he hoped to accomplish cuz before it he was like i have to remember and then after he was like this isn’t gonna help raise my confidence… i think i interpret as he was feeling insecure and thought that going to the reunion would boost his confidence if he kept getting praise from the people who used to love him but then he soon as someone said that he was their ideal he realized it was pointless because it’s not Hayashida whose saying that but im not sure
