idk if anyone else agrees but does anyone else like, not really enjoy when a story starts in the middle of the action/with the character waking up in an unknown place and THEN we have to find out how they got there in short little flashbacks like immediately right after ? like why couldn't we just start at the village ? why couldn't we follow this character through that journey ? it would have allowed us to actually, get to know and *feel* for this character more yk ? i'm guessing it has something to do w chapter/time constraints ..? this seems like a 5-6 chap story so that's why i'm drawing that conclusion

Read this awhile ago when the first volume was coming out and really enjoyed it a lot actually and now just what the fuck way did the author take this man. Props on the art improvement (? This is subjective ig) but like ?? Why ?? The ?? Cheating ??
Vol2 chap3: lilly tells cole to just fool around with Brad and coles first response is "nah... Idk if he's gay." Like who gives a fuck if he's gay ??? Aren't you in love with Alex ?? Didnt you just say you couldn't live without him ??
Also like, why did cole assume Alex wouldn't understand ?? Itd be a different story if he actually TOLD ALEX HIS CUTS WERE SELF-HARM CUTS and Alex couldn't comprehend it but instead he didn't answer and just assumed he wouldn't be understanding ?!
ALSO BRAD WHY ARE YOU HITTING ON YOUR (APPARENTLY) CLOSEST FRIEND'S BOYFRIEND ?? that is breaking some SERIOUUUS loyalty codes.
"No one's ever had feelings about me before" UHHH HELLO ??? YOUR BOYFRIEND ?? ALEX ??
"Better to keep my options open" r u .. fucking serious ??? If this is how you think then you will never be in a true, committed relationship. The point of a committed romantic relationship is that YOU ARE COMMITTED TO EACH OTHER AND ARENT ONE FOOT OUT THE FUCKING DOOR AT ALL TIMES.
Alex please man, gain some more self respect holy shit and drop this guy. He forgave this guy WAYYY too fast.
Anyway....
something about this is literally so adorable and i just love hodaka and just !!!
