Sure the ending was kinda abrupt but I dont think this was meant to be a whole long story sure more could be improved but I like it as it is
I dont feel like he just replaced him I just feel like he found someone who actually is kind to him and not doing all that… sure he liked the other guy a lot but he became his nightmares and this richard well he helped him through all that n whatnot
I do wish I saw some more with the richard who lost his vision but i try to see through pascal’s lense… if i spent so long being tormented in my mind for something I thought i did that was horrible towards a person who did very horrible things to me id rather not interact further with them after finding out they are uh alive in this case
But overall this is pretty good i also like how these characters didn’t like have any denial with their feelings i wish real life was like that without so much prejudice or fear of liking someone of the same sex
Or at least that’s what it seemed like here i was very surprised when richard (green eyes) immediately accepted his own feelings lol I enjoyed this Im not saying it’s the best story ever but i enjoyed it

Totally agree that he didn’t replace anyone or use anyone, he just healed and opened his heart to someone who was welcoming and loving him for who he was, despite his traumas, insecurities etc.. and pascal found a home in him (anyone who disagrees, you have a sad life /jk)
Also at first I was thinking how I was quite disappointed abt pascal not speaking to blind Richard or how we don’t have any interaction between the two richards — a part of me was also wanting to have a new altercation with blind Richard accusing pascal of betrayal or taking his eyes from him and how now he’s rather be ded just so pascal would agonize more etc and so that green Richard would save pascal and then go on lol that’s sadistic but would be interesting too — anywaysss I’m quite glad it went as it did bc as you said if we were in pascal’s shoes i don’t think we’d even be able to say one word to blind richard. Moreover, I think it was mostly a relief for pascal to know that the person he ince loved and might once have been loved by was still alive..
I must say tho that I would’ve loved to have more green Richard/ pascal loving moments but then it would change the whole storyline since it’s focused on pascal’s past and the struggles it created in his present, instead of a new flourishing love story (this one is for us to imagine ^^).
Also very agree too with how it feels so light and refreshing on the feelings aspect, i for real need more inclusive and accepting ppl like green Richard in my life =_=
