I’ve got a warm and fuzzy feeling after the last two panels… so beautiful and quiet, just them two, with all their stuff mixed together, warm sunshine shining into the room… ahh I want this moment to last longer!! I really hope that director‘s son guy (forgot his name already haha) won’t cause too much trouble…. MC anf ML are quite good at communicating, or so I think, so I hope even if there are misunderstandings, they will be solved quickly~

But I just keep forgetting what the key plot points of each of the two Idol Manhwas was… both survival shows have ended, the teams have been formed, the system continues to exist and threaten the MCs… both Manhwas have a sporty guy right? And both have a pretty boy… AHHH like these two Manhwas are so different but it’s so hard to keep them apart, in my head…
Anyone feeling the same? Can anyone summarize the stories real quick? Both updates have been so long I forgot ╥﹏╥
There was an Ad of this Manga and I saw how Uke was holding the bunny ears to hide his face AND WAS IMMEDIATELY SOLD. Like art style is gorgeous, Uke‘s the cutest and deserves the world
Which brings me to the this rant(SPOILER WARNING maybe)
Normally I don’t read BL Manga that I saw as an ad bc mostly the plot is just… really cheap? Even if art is decent, if not gorgeous. I can’t read these plot lines that are so stupid and/or cringe. Idk just doesn’t attract me (same as the Webtoon version Mangas that are starting to pop up here and there, their story is never really all that deep, as far as I can see). But yeah, bunny ears, cute protagonist, I wanted to give it a try.
And boy did Seme annoy me :) like there are definitely worse out there, BUT he could have been better. Blackmail-plot seemed so clichee, but even if not cliche it’s just, idk disappointing bc I expected better? I don’t mind that he realized he seems to be gay/seems to only like Uke through that encounter, but it seems like it was missing that huge chunk of so called „COMMUNICATION“ !!!! Arghhh they could talk more or stuff, but NO he had to demand sexual things for the „secret“. If you know or think you may like someone, don’t be childish and think about teasing them, just be honest or at least don’t make them sad/anxious!!! Also Manga nowadays (honestly not reading a lot lately, but just the few I’ve seen) jump right to the sex part… i didn’t feel like commenting and ranting about this bc I normally don’t like when there is negative reviews under Works that I like (and maybe many people do love this piece) but I just felt like commenting this (yes I know that’s kinda hypocritical) after reading „from here it is a secret“ (thank you reader „nagitrash“) which… kinda has a similar concept? At least the crossdressing part and someone they know finding out. I just felt like „DANG so it could have also just went this way“ they didn’t need to immediately have sex to solve some problems or in this case Semes blackmailing request. It could have been archieved with words and pouring your heart into this kinda „courting“? At least Uke kind of knows Seme has an interest in him in „from here it is a secret“. Just… Seme doesn’t take advantage of Uke bc of this, also using this as „blackmail“ material could also represent the belief that it’s no good and that no-one should know about it. Him entering Ukes life, messing everything up that he’s used to, to then, without discussing with Uke properly, or aCTUALLY without even having a relationship with Uke, gives him no right to demand Uke giving up this job.
What plot-wise could happen is that some crazy customer scare Uke a lot during his job and then Prince Charming Seme comes to the rescue. Idk, Idc :)
It’s just a pity that Stories these days, no matter what media, seem to become really shallow. It’s really thin on plot, but with lots of meat. The art is gorgeous but then it’s even sadder to see it utilized with this kind of story (ok I may be exaggerating, since there are definitely worse cases, bUT I just feel this way now :)
Also YES UKE DESERVES BETTER arghhhhh ofc it’s not gonna happen, bUT HE DESERVES BETTER!!!!

BUT MY HEART STOPPED FOR A MOMENT AT THE END- the last few panels where ML drove off with the car gave me a heart attack, I thought he was going to have an accident the moment MC said stay safe or smth ahhhh

OMGGG SAMEEE I held my breath until the end like thank god it's just his dad and nothing else
