Okay okay so I’ve just missed 5 chapters but like the whole plot is just them trying to fulfill the prophecy but like now they aren’t cause if they do they’ll die. And if they don’t fulfill it I forgot what happens if they don’t. This has been going on for way to long it better have a happy ending cause there’s so much info going and when it goes on hiatus I completely forgot what happened and I just have to reread it.
If they fulfill the prophecy the first vampire will die and the gods will be reincarnated . If they dont that wont happen. Agia just wants to die to run away from this hell , to the point we cant really trust him when he says that he wont fulfill the prophecy because that's all he has been brainwashed to want
Eem... No? Lol The whole point is that it's not the real prophecy - it's what the church has been spewing. It's what they've been using to convince people of the moon and night to go to the sanctuary to their death - the result being that Vercike (who isn't actually the first vampire but the strongest of them because he has been drinking Cains devine blood) falls asleep until a new reincarnation of Cain (person of the moon) is born. And it's true that what Agia wanted the most was to die so he could have piece instead of going insane and being kept in a tube (the one he has nightmares about, where the church keeps one of the previous people of the moon) - but after having that dream where he and Ken are kids - he sees a different path and now his priority is genuinely Ken - he is definitely lying to the church to get Ken out - and probably withholding info from Ken for the same reason
I nevwr said the prophecy was real or not , i just said what people knew will happen when the prophecy is fulfilled. I guess gor the part that vercki wasn't the first vampire i guess i missed that part my bad
