People saying it has abuse, Stockholm syndrome and victim blaming had probably read another story , coz when I was reading the novel, it was full of comedy of how the prince flirts with her whenever he has a chance, saying his love to her everyday and confining her until their wedding the day.. Its actully sweet and funny.
I premise that i didn't read the story, but are you sure that confining someone against their will is sweet and funny...? Even if the prince is in love with her, to lock her up and force his feeling on her until she acepts its kinda fucked up. The fact that you find it sweet and funny scare me a little bit
This is a fantasy romance, ofcourse it is meant to be sweet. As what as someone said in the past comments, we should not impose today's standards to the story which is in renaisance period era kind of romance coz its not as twisted as today's situation.
