I am all for the "everything working out" troupe but once in a while, a realistic take brings back the senses. Rin receiving such a sad ending definitely hurt but one can get that far in life. Taiga also, having acknowledged that he made a mistake then was such a huge thing for me. I'm kinda glad Kaoru stayed true to himself but imagine the pull of his fated one? Sometimes you make your decisions. And it does all feel like everyone settled but always make the choices you'll commit to. Rins obsessions cost him and also the effects of rape unfortunately consumed him. Ugh... To much to deal with
The palpable stress I felt reading his story - thoughts, history, work life - He is so relatable and one can easily grip on to the reasons behind his actions. Also you can totally understand why Woo In broke up with him. If you fail to communicate, you do end up frustrated. Man this manga is awesome! Now... I hope step bro doesn't win this time round cause not everything is worth having if it isn't worked for. Good luck Suk!
