I read the spoilers and literally what the fuck... I didn’t expect the story to go that way at all

Is anyone else having trouble understanding the story? Like it feels all over the place and they keep mentioning random names, I lowkey have no idea what’s going on

Okay so I’ve read the novel and I saw a lot of people in the comments asking for spoilers so I’ll write them here

















Basically, our MC Ancia gets reincarnated into this R19 novel where her sister Diana gets together with Richard. Blake is the 2nd ML in the original novel and she decides to change his fate and take care of him until Diana can get rid of his curse. She stays with him for a while and eventually finds out that she’s actually the one who inherits the power of light, not Diana. The previous emperors all have a ring that allow’s them to use the power of light at will, but the catch is that the person with the curse suffers immense pain. The emperor actually really loves Blake but can’t take care of him as he wants because Blake is considered “cursed,” so he refuses to use the ring recklessly, but he has to close the doors of darkness whenever they open to seal the monsters and the only way to do that is use the ring. Ancia gets rid of Blake’s curse with a kiss one day but it comes back, so to get rid of it for good she heads to the door of darkness since she gets visions calling for her help that lead her there. The door of darkness traps her and she’s stuck walking for 7 years to reach the goddess of light, who was the one sending her the calls for help and visions. We find out that Ancia actually originally lived in the novel’s world before the empire was founded and “Ancia,” “Blake,” and “Richard” are all reincarnations of the past. Everyone thinks Ancia is dead except for Blake, and he never stops looking for her even after 7 years. The goddess of light was friends with Ancia in her past life and blames her for not coming to save her from hundreds of years of horrible pain sooner, so she switches bodies with Ancia, takes away her reading and writing skills and her speech. She can’t tell anyone who she is and Blake finds her outside the doors of darkness and names her “Rose.” He suspects that Rose is Ancia after seeing similar patterns but she doesn’t confirm it, and the goddess takes Ancia’s body and acts as her while “Rose” gets treated like a monster for the burn mark on her face, but Blake still treats her kindly. Then the goddess gets really annoying and they go more into Ancia’s past life but she eventually gets her body back and takes her place as crown princess again. Sorry this was really long but that’s basically the gist of the plot lol.
