I don't give a shit about their daughter or her "rise to the throne".. after watching the mc have to fight tooth and nail to get/keep his kingdom, seeing someone get it handed over to them on a silver platter isn't interesting to me

The whole story was basically about that there's no need to see the daughter going thru the same. It would be nice to see them just a as a family or her growing meeting friends having fun .
dude the whole point of the story was making a good King. And now that there's one good King, you can see how the next King is made even better and that they DON'T have to struggle to rise to power because they are given the resources and teachings for one.
but I admit they aren't executing the plot well. more interactions of epilson and the parents would have been so much better
