Also this is just my opinion, but I think he might be asexual. The straight up lack of interest in pretty girls could be explained by not being sexually attracted to them (limiting possible orientations to gay,ace,demi,poly). As for other evidence, he reminds me a lot of myself: great passion for a set subject (surgery), a handful of side interest for free time (the mobile game), overall polite but some what cold attitude towards people he’s not close to (most social interactions), general disinterest in potential sex/romance partners (reactions to pretty girls).
This might just be self projection (as an ace aro I’m desperate for icons), and at this point it’s just a theory based on content so far and comments with slight spoilers. But I really hope I’m right (need more ace icons so far my top one is Mr. Clean). (๑•ㅂ•)و✧
