●Do you consider it grooming if they are friends since childhood and the other reached adulthood and just happens to have courage to confess? 2 yr gap, 5 year, 6 yr gap.
●What if they are couple since they are minor but the other one is adult the next year? Is that grooming?

I'm enjoying the plot of the story and comments really scared me TvT now I feel like if the older age gap stories were uploaded in this period of time, I will see the word "grooming" immediately TvT.
Tbh, it's not really grooming. For me, Grooming is more like sexual manipulation of older person to a minor to like them, worse sexually. They will expose that certain person to ya da ya da.
In this case, our Mc and ml know each other from very young age , of course love will bloom. Do you expect friends with 6 year age gap to tell themselves not fall in love coz they are too far apart? Or love is already not allowed for them?
It's just simple advances, The Mc even saw it as friendly gestures and friend zone him (just likewhat Ms.____)
Anyway, I pity the emperor for liking an oblivious person. Fighting! we should worry about his way of confessing and proposing, he is so mahina.
There are different rule of world based on what history the author follow. Of course, there would be people who will complain if history isn't followed "why you eme eme, it supposed tobe just like this bleh bleh bleh, do you eve research your period dumb ass?"
