Uh, the face in the portrait is his mom and she actually doesn’t know what the OGFL looks like. The duchess/FL is super confusing.

Duchess and ML were engaged when they were kids but it got broken off at some point. He was in love with her up until she became a tyrant and became hell bent on wanting to kill her. He’s a “womanizer” bc Duchess forced him to take on that image. Uhhhh, I think OGFL has her own man so she never loved the ML but liked his face.

Time skip or smth / duchess restored the treasury but her assets were all burned and then she married the ML.

I hate the whole thing like what was the point in this being published. Should’ve gone to wattpad instead .
