I understand you. But my personal opinion is, no he won’t be king if he step in his land, his land was taken over as property of another kingdom. I think in the beginning he wanted to seduce her and ask her to go to war and get his country back. His family right now is dead, but his people were turned into slaves. So he wants to save them. And the only way is for a kingdom with a strong army to help him. Also, about the prince I don’t like his with the queen, there’s some things that he says that are degrading to the queen. She is a strong and independent women she needs no man, and definitely does not need him like he believes she does. I like her relationship with Kang because it’s pure, they don’t even know that they love each other. She doesn’t need to marry him either, but if she wants that’s ok, but he would still respect her as a queen. And not take over her kingdom as all the other men want. And, I don’t think there’s a possibility of betrayal there.
True. It's either someone will expose ml's plan, or he will tell fl. I also don't like the prince, I've been noticing how he describes her, and you can notice it very well when the ml and the prince had alone time. The prince talked about the empress as if she was a thing, and as if that 'thing' was already his, like he was so sure. Idk about you , but that gives me so many red flags. I started to hate and be suspicious of him. Since he was already sure, I thing there must be something bigger that's happening, and I don't like it.
