Nope. Yuri's parent's died in an accident. I guess the glasses guy either was a good friend of Yuri who also managed (nearly) to pierce through his heart or he admired Yuri in the past and stuck close to him. And git bullied in return. I guess he in his desperation burnt something down and accidentally caught their house affire and causing him burnt marks. If he burnt down Yuri's house wouldn'e he be in jail?

I wouldn't really call that as "taking advantage" and "just so he can draw." Nishida has truly fallen in love with Naoto; actually, he draws Naoto because he LOVES him. Naoto had become his new inspiration and he became a lot more entranced with him as he got to know him. As for the "taking advantage," seeing the way things are, Taichi is the one acting bullshit here because he's too wishy-washy (I know that he's just concerned with family and shits but like Nao said, "it's already too late", it's their second time in this relationship already wtf. Naoto makes an effort to talk but he avoids him instead). Nishida can't help it, pretty common to get so fcking concerned if the one you love is getting anxious and depressed. From Nishida's point of view, Taichi is also being a coward, this can be "a waste of time" (as stated by Nishida) for Taichi and Naoto's relationship if Taichi maintains this kind of attitude until the succeeding years.

In my point of view I think Nishi is only attracted to Naoto because he sees his old self in him the one that was so hung up with his boyfriend and in the flashback it was stated how hurt he was when he saw his boyfriend being lovey dovey with his girlfriend to the point that he completely changed. Now that he sees Naoto suffering like that he probably thought "I can make him happier than Taichi can." So he went and took it as a chance. Now for Taichi I completely understand his situation I've been there where your relationship ruined your family and I understand why Taichi is like that the only thing that ticked me off so much is that he chose to suffer worrying about it than telling Naoto and have a conversation with him, they lack communication. But, as Fumi-chan said in volume one Naoto is only for Taichi and Taichi is the only one for Naoto so I doubt Nishi have a chance cause Naoto and Taichi are completely in love with each other no matter how much their relationship is being shaken up. I just hope Taichi is not too late and I hope Naoto stop that emo kid from kissing him. #TeamNaoChi FTW

Lol yea I know all that but the sole reason I don't like him is cause he used blackmail. If h had just talked to him normal in the begin in I wouldn't have a problem. And I don't think he truly likes him either, since Naoto complimented his drawing he "fell in love with him" like he did with his old boyfriend who also complimented his drawing man. Well, we can interpret it in different ways. Nishida's timidity might have been a factor for the blackmailing he does. He must not know how to express himself well. I personally think that Naoto's compliment was kinda his salvation because someone actually found the "mess" he made beautiful. The messy artwork he made actually symbolizes him as an artist; that must've been the reason why Naoto's remark left such an impactful impression on him. But the compliment wasn't the only reason, I don't know if I can explain this well but if you observe every panel, he fell in love with Naoto because of the way Naoto treasures Taichi and believes that their relationship will last forever. That's actually the one thing Nishida's ex-boyfriend denied him, a relationship that lasts; in the end, he chose a GIRL over Nishida. (protect the shy cinnamon roll :c) Glad to see different views regarding this matter :3
