heonjae is so unbelievably disgusting to me in the start of the story i genuinely thought he was just a shy silly boy deprived of social interaction, but JESUS there's so much more to him than meets the eye. there have been so many chapters where he's said subtle things that are actually terrifying; like when he talked about wanting to see myeongil's flesh torn from his body or when he was masturbating imagining myeongil in his middle school uniform. he is a fucking psychopath, the absolute WORST kind because he sexually gets off of violence and bloodshed. his whole character sends chills down my spine

so in the end, which jinhyeok won and came back to the real world? i have a feeling it was his desire to kill that came back because when both the supposedly "good" and "bad" jinhyeok were fighting on the ship, whichever won only won after murdering the other. so, it doesn't even really matter, because the desire to kill is still present.
