Yea. I get your point. I cant tell which. :/ The author should show how uke felt about it, not tell how he felt it. ilili
Wasn't the author clear on how the guy felt at that last chapter? It was pretty clear to me. He looked unsure and didn't like it at first but decided to enjoy the feeling instead or something. He thought something along the lines of comparing that experience as better than a shittier experience he had.
Then at the end when he was reminded of that time during sex with the seme, he described that event as something terrible and shameful. Kinda makes it clear it was rape at most and coercion at the very least.
Well, I do admit the pacing of that scene was kinda too fast so I was pretty unsure at first tho.

I can see what the author wanted to deliver but they didn’t do it well.
It was dubcon at best. They didn't show whether he consented or not, just that he wanted to pay them back for taking care of him for so long. They didn't want his money and opted for sex. It might not have been what he wanted but I don't think it was full-blown rape.
And I think the reason why he felt bad about it is 'cause of his weird impression of Masaru where he thought Masaru was this perfect, straight-laced model and he felt bad that Masaru thought he was "cute" or more-so "a good kid" despite the rumors. Daiki felt bad 'cause he wasn't this pure human being he felt like he was tricking Masaru into believing. It's the whole stigmatized "virgin = pure" mindset a lot of people have.
I've read too much and have personally experienced too much to just call this outright rape lol

Yeah. I thought so as well. It looked like he was ashamed of his promiscuous past and how he wasn't pure for Masaru because he idolises Masaru to the extent of thinking he's perfect and was ashamed of himself for being anything but ''clean" or "pure". It looked like he went along with it at the time out of feelings of gratefulness but he wasn't a 100 percent sure but decided that he might as well enjoy it. Like @lostikins said, it was dubcon at best, and I think even that might be stretching it but the way the author wrote the scene gives off the impression that he was young, rebellious and didn't know any better so he feels ashamed over his dark past because he's now with a perfect partner.

It doesn't help that when most people read this chapter they keyed in on the "ashamed" part and thought he was feeling disgusted for having been raped but honestly it didn't come off that way to me. He still hung around those guys after everything was done. He still thought back on them and was grateful to them for helping him become someone he wanted to be-- other than the whole sex part naturally since it later made him feel unworthy of Masaru's love.
We can also kinda glean what was going on from Masaru's reaction to being told what had happened. Instead of saying it wasn't his fault that something terrible happened to Daiki he instead tells him "you're an adult so it's expected for you to have some experience with these things" which doesn't sound like something you'd tell your lover if they were a rape victim. Seeing as it was multiple guys as well I feel like Masaru might've reacted more angrily if it was indeed gang rape.

Exactly. Thankyou for pointing out that part as well. I feel that if it had been rape, the reactions would have been VERY different, especially on Masaru's part.
it was still rape either way, he hadnt consented, and he was shamed of losing his virginity by getting raped. meant to down vote <3 minnie
Yeah, I get it that it wasn't shown whether he consented or not but to jump and be this hostile over something no one is even sure of is a lil much, don'tcha think, sweetie?
You should scroll down and read the replies I have given that actually analyze the scene itself instead of jumping on the "yaoi rape trope" train lol
It's dubcon at best. It wouldn't make sense for a gang rape victim to think back on his assailants in a fond manner (him thinking back and being grateful for their help in making him into who he wanted to be.) He felt ashamed 'cause he idolized and imagined Masaru to be this straight laced, pure hearted person and not an actual human being who has probably had sexual partners himself. He felt bad 'cause Masaru was praising him despite not knowing that he had at one point sexual relations with other people-- not 'cause he was "gang raped."
That and don't you think Masaru's reaction was a lil lukewarm if he had just been told that his lover was gang raped? None of the other key panels line up for someone coming out about being raped-- or gang raped for that matter. Instead, Masaru tells him that it's ok and to be expected since they are adults. Having prior sexual experience is normal for someone their ages but that doesn't mean Daiki isn't right or too "impure" for Masaru. It was moreso Daiki's stigmatized view on "virginity = purity" that made him feel ashamed. Well, that and probably the fact that he did sexual favors in return for being taken care of.

Yeah since usually when stuff like that is brought up or happens the partner flies off the handle or acts overly sympathetic. It was more like he was trying to let Daiki know that it was fine that he wasn't a virgin when they met and that his past behavior is what made him into who he was today. Idek it just didn't feel like a "yeah I was gang raped by my friends" type of confession. You don't think back on your assailants and be grateful to them for helping you become you who are today lol
Uke liked little brother first then met big brother. He fell in love with big brother because be believed big brother was similar to littler brother. Huh? Wow. I would feel bad for him if he tried to copy what his younger brother do. Anyway uke learned about big brother more than before.
Idk if I misunderstood the story but the uke seemed to be inlove with THE older brother at first but then the lil bro have the resemblance and chose him. Lol how would you rate this out of 5?

I didn't say he fell in love with younger brother first. I said he liked younger brother first. The feeling would get stronger if he hadn't met older brother.
That's one of reasons why uke moved on very quick.

I re-read ur comment again lol I forgot the lil bro was the uke's subordinate, my bad
Gangrape? Uhmm I dont see it that way. I just think uke was shamed of lose virginity for fun, not love. idk.

Yeah... I felt the same!

What!? He wasn't raped. He just just had sex with multiple guys at once lol
Nope, it’s rape.
He did not consent.
