yes! well.. if he was bad, then he's probably a changed person now. I think that counts a lot!
I understand that some people would not trust someone who EVER did something like that, even if they truly changed their whole way of thinking and truly regretted, they would still be looked at as a bad guy forever. But there are also some people who see them as a brand new person separate from their old self, and might decide to give them a chance, and I guess that's all we as flawed humans can hope for if we just want to learn/grow and achieve some kind of happiness in our lives someday.
