Hello!! Can anyone share spoilers on what happened in the manga or light novel? i only ever watched the anime
The light novel hasn't ended so it's hard to spoil much, but lets just say there has been a few surprising plot twists.
im fine with that btw im actually surprised its not done yet
It's an extremely long series afterall. The latest volume out is the start of their Year3, with volume 2 coming out nxt month. There's also a special volume 0 of his childhood in the white room.
Some major spoilers I can give from Y2 without giving up the entire story is that
*About the White roomers*
- There are multiple white roomers in the first years.
- Some are there to get Ayanokouji expelled while some are trying to help him.
- Ayanokouji already knows who some of them are, he's just testing their loyalties.
- Someone who isn't a white roomer finds out about the white room
*About expulsions*
- One of the white roomers will get expelled
- A fan favourite almost gets expelled and another fan favourite got expelled.
- The end of year 2 causes a huge upset when one of the leaders got expelled
*About character growth*
- More people start realising how scary smart Ayanokouji is
- We get a glimpse of Ayanokouji starting to feel emotions
- We get a parent-teachers meeting where some characters' important backgrounds are revealed. There are some high profile kids connected to the government in school.
- Some people gets transferred to different classes, messing up the initial balance which leads to an uneasy start of Year3.
Ig these are some major points I can give but if there's anything else you're curious abt you can just ask!
i was actually wondering about the black hair girl,suzuke? is she she's still relevant in the story? or more of a side character? She was fave and i was devastated when i heard spoilers (from yearss ago) about how she isn't exactly the main love interest
She's still very relevant. She's technically the class leader at the forefront, but still relies on Ayanokouji for in depth instructions. She didn't play a huge part in y2 compared to y1 since y2 is focused on the new 1st years and the background fight between the leaders (Ayanokouji, Sakayanagi, Ryuen&Ichinose) but by the end of year 3 Suzune is starting to realise her feelings for Ayanokouji runs deeper than she initially thought.
There's isn't a confirmation on who's the main love interest(or if there even is one) yet because Ayanokouji himself is still learning about feelings, but it's getting there.
End of year 2* By then Ayanokouji was dating Karuizawa Kei so Suzune doesn't overstep as a friend. Meanwhile, she received a confession from Sudo but rejected him.
