what i appreciate about his perspective on marking/biting is that he always has tsugumi's benefit in mind... he understands that biting tsugumi would tie him down to him and they're too young for that, but he also worries a lot because without the mark, tsugumi is vulnerable to other alphas...he worries that tsugumi would get hurt or raped, and not that another alpha would "possess" him -- in fact, he has never seen tsugumi as someone he would possess but rather, he waits patiently and just settles for being the person tsugumi wants him to be in that moment
