I have this fear that rather than walking in on Lihuan fighting with the jerk/closet case, he's going to discover the two of them going at it in the showers...

And though it may seem odd, to me, that would be so much worse than seeing Lihuan fighting with him.

Kudos to this mangaka for making sex in a public toilet seem cute.

By kissing Onoe

Which will be the best possible way for Kaburaji to learn he isn't always right!

Why do men need to get drunk in order to admit they actually have feelings?

And then COMPLETELY WASTED before they'll tell anyone what those feelings are?

    vilde203 March 15, 2018 8:52 pm

Actually, that doesn’t only apply to men tbh ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭ My friends get me drunk to confess my feelings about a person/subject( ̄∇ ̄") I’m not a dude btw

I suppose it's true of some women too, but most of the women I know have no trouble expressing their feelings, whether there are drunk or sober.

While I've seen some of the most uptight and masculine men become weepy and completely unfiltered as soon as they are inebriated.

Way better than all the rape and coercion (not to mention the occasional shota/molestation) you see in a lot of yaoi are stories like this where two people take their time because they genuinely care about one another.

Not sure if the author or translator is the one including the little facts about language and culture, but I love those!

Wish more mangas had insights into the real people and countries featured in the stories.

That's my doing, the translator (●'◡'●)ノ
It's cool to know some stuff that aren't usually part of our daily lives, right?

    Absolutely!
    And thank you so much.
    It is very much appreciated.

I firmly believe people sabotage their own happiness all the time.

You can tell he's so terrified of being loved because that means he might lose that love someday.
So instead of taking a chance, he'd rather just reject his chance at being with the person he loves with all his heart, in favor of being with someone who won't ever be able to truly break his heart, simply because they never really had it in the first place.

    Eva Mark 06 February 23, 2018 6:12 pm

Well first loves are not always the ones that make you happy in the end. He can fall in love with another person and even be happier than he would've been with the first love.
But talking about this manga in particular, yes he's sabotaging his own love... But in a way it could be good. If the friend is really in love with him and it's not just interested (yep it can happen sadly) he will try to conquer him back. That would give him a boost of self-esteem and faith in the relationship maybe?

It's an oldie, but a goodie.

Errant Belle February 19, 2018 6:18 pm

Still think Kanou is a rapist and a jerk.
And Ayase is an idiot for preferring him over Kuba.

    I'm with you.
Not sure WTF giant eyes is thinking.
The man rapes him, then forces him into prostitution, after buying him as a human slave of course...
I just don't get how any of that is romantic.
    This one turns my stomach.
The only reason I skim through the updates is that I keep hoping Ayase will wake the f*#k up, even though I'm fairly certain that will never happen.
