I’m glad that Jiho at least recognizing that NO Inwoo shouldn’t be the one apologizing. Watching Inwoo have his abandonment trauma triggered so violently by seeing his mother, and then clinging into Jiho, is so painful to watch. He deserves so much better and it’s so sad that the only safe person in his life (Jiho) continues to put him in re-traumatizing situations without taking any accountability for his actions
Wish therapy wasn’t as stigmatized in South Korea since it would really help Inwoo start to process his trauma and couples counseling could really help prevent situations like this from happening in the future. At this point Inwoo would be much better off doing multiple sessions a week and being single because they’ve gotten to a point where Inwoo is going to continue to regress while he’s with Jiho which is going to make his road to recovery so much harder than it needs to be

Still shook that anyone is still defending Jiho. He saw how traumatized Inwoo was by the first meeting and set up another one and then surprised Inwoo with it without warning. He did this because he didn’t want to deal with Inwoo being sad. He then went to his exes and even was tempted to be with him because it was easier. And now that he’s bad I doubt he’ll take any responsibility because Inwoo is so terrified of being abandoned again that he’s going to forgive him and beg him to stay
I’ve never wanted a character to get dumped so bad. Inwoo deserves so much better and Jiho is not only selfish, but he is downright cruel

It was that media then, and this media now, that contributes to that type of thinking. THAT is why continuing to write these tropes is dangerous. I don’t care if it’s just fiction. I just checked and it’s chapter 12 where he says that he had got with his private tutor. So yeah. It went there, the tutor is an adult who goes after a MINOR. And YOU are going out of your way to defend this predator on a multitude of comment threads. It’s not a good look.
But I’m not here to make you feel bad about it. I just want to encourage you to look inward and investigate why you feel the need to defend him and his predatory behavior towards a minor.
We’re all influenced by media and situations we’ve experienced and it can be very helpful to search for the root of our actions, because a lot of the times these mindsets require deconstructing harmful tropes. That’s what I had to do, since back when I was a teen I used to think that teen/adult relationships COULD be ok, and it was BECAUSE OF media/anime/manga that led me to those mindsets. And that? THAT is what this manga is actively doing right now to its readers, and to you since you’ve felt passionately enough about this subject to comment on several threads about it.
I know this is a massive ask of you to investigate within yourself, and it’s also being thrust on you by a stranger on the internet so naturally you’re going to feel defensive. But I really do urge you to think about all of this when YOU’RE ready and IF it feels safe to do so

No teenager is supposed to be reading this to start with.
And while yes all those series u named may not have been 18+, they are not at fault for what happened with me and multiple other teenagers, the adults dating us were.
What you're doing by faulting fiction, is actually extremely disrespectful to victims in a way, because it somehow faults us and dumbs us down to idiots that cannot differentiate between fiction and reality. Fiction affects your mindset only up until what u allow it to. I've had years of therapy to tell me that and searched deep inside me as to why that happened to me and it was never my fault as a victim.
Yes I wanted to be more mature, yes I wanted to date an older guy, but if the fucking guy had not fucking dated me as a goddamn teen, nothing would have happened. Stop victim blaming.
Besides, series like this depict a reality that has been a reality for ages(sadly) and it's an extremely realistic story, so if it triggers u somehow, close it, u have the power to curate ur safespace.

I know the frustration but writing up reviews in a pirating site is not changing the world dude. Like, we leave comments with our opinion to have conversations with other people pirating, and many people pirate precisely because more mainstream content is frown upon. Soooo just leave the starts it deserves and say that is creepy, but being all virtious to save the world is not gonna make people reflect on the topic, you just look our of place and self-important.

They need couples counseling or they need to break up. The MC needs individual to deal with all of the cheating trauma he’s had to endure, he’s going to self sabotage every relationship until he gets that’s resolved. Not saying that all the works needs to be his to resolve, but it’s not fair to make your partner heal your trauma when they’re not professionally trained to do so
